Foodies

My latest foodie addiction is the Acai Bowl at the Blue Hawaii Lifestyle shop and cafe. It has Asai berries blended with soy, ice and other top secret ingredients. They layer the bowl with granola, and a larger layer of the Asai berry blend, topping it off off with more granola, bananas, strawberries, and blueberries, all drizzled in honey. Yummy and health! Even Pearce loves it and asks "can have the purple ice cream?"

This is the Asai bowl that Pearce and I share.

This is my Acai cup on the go.

The Acai berry comes from the Açaí palm (pronounced [asaˈi], /ah-sah-EE/) that is native to Central and South America, from Belize southward to Brazil and Peru. These palms grow mainly in swamps and floodplains.
